    I captured this image this afternoon at a bush in my backyard. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    1/5000 F/8 Matrix Metering EV +1 ISO 1800 AWB, Group (Nikon) autofocus mode

    Nice pose and composition. The red looks great on this guy. Nice techs too to freeze the action. Im seeing some noise on the bird though -- on the chest and wings -- was this a large crop or did you boost exposure? Nicely seen, I'm still waiting to see one in my area, although eBird has multiple entries already.

    Well done. I am suspecting a relatively large crop. May we assume that the bird was at a feeder? Wing position and sharpness excellent. Good images of male Anna's are rare.

    Hi Artie, yes, a large crop considering the size of the bird. Not a bird feeder but a Hummingbird Bush (Coralillo enano). I can show an image better than trying to describe it. Thank you for viewing and commenting.
