    Default Grey Seal bonding

hey folks , this image shows the bonding between mum and pup , still not very strong . As the pup is just some hours old and it takes time to make the bond strong , so mum was still skeptical about the pup and how to behave , at least this was my impression .
Image taken in jan 2016 when pupping season was over ....so theory was that this is a younger seal mum due to the late birth giving .

Fantastic colours Andreas and so much to look at in this frame. Love the affection you captured between mom and pup.

Great techs Boetie, and your PP work is impeccable here, reveals great detail as well as beautiful rich tones in the seals' fur. (What lovely silky fur the little one has, just like velvet!) Subjects stand out so nicely against the BG.

A lovely scene that portrays the pup as vulnerable and dependent on his young mother, he obviously has not had his share of life yet. The two face each other in a tender and delicate game of life. Behind them, the glistening sea. Beneath, a number of damp and colourful rocks. Such is the world of seals and I love to experience it through your lens. Not sure what goes through your mind as you witness those scenes and take them home with you, just grateful you are prepared to share them with us - much appreciated, my friend.

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Andreas - Definitely one of your best seal images IMHO. Nice light and colors, love the blue water bg. The stones make a nice fg too. Comp works for me and excellent detail.

A lovely 'clean' shot with the pebble foreground and the complementary BG. Nice typical bonding touch between the pair, techs as good as ever.
