    Great look at such an impressive bird, especially those talons! I love the blue waters of the Pacific as the background as well. Only wish the bird was facing the other direction so it was not looking into the large area of out of focus rocks.

    Agree about the position of the bird looking inwards but I personally would be very pleased with what you did get,the joy of bird photography the times I have waited for a bird to turn its head just a little bit or stand in a different angle,very well caught Tim.

    Don't you love the rock perches, nice vertical edges that prevent the mutes {poop} from messing up the shots. This tiercel is striking and no bands. Great shot Tim, well framed. See you soon
