Taken in January in Costa Rica. This was the very last picture I took while in Costa Rica. I shot it from the car on my way to the airport!
I wish I had been at F8 but I am still very very happy with this one.
I love the tangled flowers and the leading line created by the grass on the right.

Wow, lucky! this is one of my nemisis birds! Looks nice and sharp where it needs to be, great BG, I am not a fan of the busy perch, but that is just me! Nice shot!

Congrats on getting this shot -- I've only ever see one of these guys and it was with a much much busier perch / BG. That said, I do greedily wish the perch was just a little bit cleaner in regard to the OOF flowers on the RHS, but again this is still a very nice shot. I don't mind f/5.6 vs f/8 here as the bird looks sharp throughout with nice details. Like the transition from brown to green in the BG. Great to end a trip with an excellent last shot -- TFS

Lovely detail and pose on the bird Gail. Love that BG the colours are beautiful. Like the guys above, I am not a fan of the perch. I think it would look better without the OOF flowers as Alex mentioned.

This is really nice. Love the flowers and how they frame the bird, great background as well.

That perch certainly is an interesting bouquet! I too have slight reservations about the oof part of it at right, but everything else in this frame rocks. Great colours and BG. Awesome way to finish a trip!!
