This is lovely.
IQ is excellent. Love the color of the water. Great HA and view of the crab.
I just wish you had been higher to get a look at the feet.
I could see a version with a sliver off the LHS of frame and add the same amount back to RHS of the frame.
Very nice image!

Nice well lit sharp capture of the heron, love that you got it with its meal. Low is usually best for these birds, but in this case I would like to be up a little more to get the feet, if the bird would let you... nice image!
Besides not seeing the feet, this one looks great. Love the water color and the details in the heron. Nice to get him with a nice crab in its beak. That eye really pops off of that BG. Well done

Super shot my only criticism .. yes the feet or lack of. I really like the prey item and that is a wonderful backdrop colour.
Can only echo the critique others have given so far. I love the crab, eye, beach BG, and the detail looks very nice. TFS
Love the colours on this frame, and the lovely detail on the bird. The prey takes it up a notch. Good pose and HA.
Will
good capture eye level interesting capture
I echo the previous comments, sharp, nice colors, the prey add much to the image. Been there done that regarding the feet, the slope of beaches sometimes interferes. Thank you for sharing.

Hi John, Nice but to my eye there is a significant blue/green cast. LMK what y'all think of this color corrected version.

All been said already, with the lack of feet being the only slight negative point.
Artie - you know the colours far better than me, but I think you're RP has taken the WB too far in the opposite direction. Maybe somewhere between the 2.
