This fella was very cooperative and took advantage of my setup. A very windy day, with said perch bouncing up and down in the viewfinder, but luckily at times staying still enough once the warbler was on it. I like the image, but there is one thing that bugs me, that I wish had happened, but did not. Can you guess what it is?

Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/1250s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, about 90% FF, eye work, NR to the BG. Audio used.

Lovely looking frame Dan with nice colours throughout. I really like the colours on the leaves against that BG. Looks good. Nice detail on the bird with a lovely pose. I think the branch that crosses over the bird bugs you.

A lovely setup with nice buds and background; and any warbler is special in my book. I suppose he might have been singing.

Very cooperative Pine Warbler, Daniel and beautiful image. The light is exceptional, and setup perch fits nicely with this BG. Maybe a tad more head turn towards us.

Lovely perch and BG, and warbler looks great. No real nits from me here. Another vote for perhaps singing?

Great image as always Daniel, you probably wanted the bird to move to your left so you don't have the other branch across his body?

Really nice the flower buds make this in my opinion. I also like the contrast of the colors.

Nice colorful frame of this warbler we don't get see out west. The green BG and the red/purple leaves really showcase this frame well. Cool shot Daniel

    Hey guys, thanks!!

Good guess on the branch crossing the tail, but I'm actually OK with it. The thing I wish was that the head was angled 1 or 2 degrees towards us rather than away. I still like the image though!

Very nice, I like the perch with the pretty red blooms, sharp colorful warbler, and soft background.

Hey Dan, Love the flowering tree perch. The head is actually square to us and to the back of the camera. The problem -- and it is not a big one -- is that the bird's body is angled slightly toward us ... Thus, without it's head being lined up with the body it gives the appearance of being angled away ...
