Managed to get some pretty good frames of this willet bathing. Image adjustments in Lightroom, small crop.

    Hi John,
I love the way willets bathe. They are so frenetic and make a great splash, which you have shown very well here.
Nice and sharp and good low POV.
I like the green grasses at the top of the frame for the pop of color they add to the frame but feel there is a bit too much separation from the willet and grass and too much space on top.
Problem is, when I crop the grasses out by doing a browser scroll, I miss the color. In hindsight , a lower POV would have brought those grasses lower in the BG and solved the issue.
Only other suggestion would be to lower brightness and/or exposure very slightly.
    Well done,
    Gail

I love the action, super cool! I especially like the bigger splashing water at left and the way the image is composed to fully include it. I'm OK with the comp as is, just wondering if a touch of CW rotation would work.

Lovely image, John. I like the transparency of the water and the little Willet splashing about is just gorgeous - well seen and captured!

Good exposure, this is nice and sharp, composition works for me. I tend to agree with Daniel above, a tad of CW rotation could benefit this frame.

Wonderful work, do keep them coming, and thank you so much for sharing

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
