This is my first posting. I'm used to Facebook so it took me a while to figure out how to post. I reduced the size of the image and made the resolution 72. It's a Tiff file. I hope that I did it right. I use PS for editing and Nik plugin and ON1. I have no repeat order of post processing. I just start with each image and see what I think it needs as I go. My settings were f5.6, 1/3200, ISO 800, 200mm.
Welcome to BPN Anita! Great first post. I like the pose, head angle and the beautiful eye. Details look good on my screen. Also like how the feet is showing. If I have to change something I'd give it a little more room to the right and top so the bird can "fly into". Looking forward to see more images from you. Thank you for sharing.
Ait this is a great start - congratulations! Super focus details and exposure. If this were mine I think I would have cropped a little less to give the bird a bit more space all around.
My other suggestion is to note the image can be up to 1200px wide and up to 1000px high.
That near wing is spectacular! Nice to see some nesting material in the bill too. Good BG. I agree with a looser comp, if you have it in the original. Sharpness looks good as posted, but the image size small to confidently comment on that.
Welcome to BPN and what a nice flight frame to start your membership with!! Besides loosening the comp a little, this one is fantastic. Nice pose, details and Bg. The the nesting material is a nice bonus too. Well done and Keep em coming!

Howdy and welcome to BNP. I hope that you opt to join us here full time. This is a lovely first post. The pose, wing position, and soft light are quite nice. May I assume that tnis is a crop from the top and from our left?
with love, artie
