    Hi all,

    Here's a Laughing Gull from NJ on a relatively overcast and very windy day hence the shutter speed. In post, I did some light noise reduction on the bird and background, sharpened, and brought down some of whites a bit. This is a slight crop. Pretty minor edits overall.

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 200-500mm f/5.6 at 500mm
    Specs: 1/2000 ISO 1000 f/8

    I like this image Alex. Good detail, Nice POV on a nice clean beach. I like the HA and that both feet are showing, also the whites are well controlled. TFS.

    Overall a fine image. Nice pose and I like seeing the shells on the beach as part of the story. Whites and blacks look good. It would have been nice to see a little more light in the eye. Maybe it can be dodged a tad.
