    Love it when these guys scream all raised up and neck extended. Canon 5DIV 600II. ISO1600,F/5@1/640sec. Thanks for looking and any input.

    Nice capture i like that the wood duck is on a piece of wood. Looks good in the overcast light as well.

    The details and calling pose with that raised crest look fantastic. Love the beautiful green background. But I think the large out of focus log in the background detracts from the image and is distracting.

    A fine example of this species, Joe. Love the warmth in the soft light bringing out all the colors nicely. Perfect depth of field, great detail, and wonderful calling pose.

    Thanks guys. No worries on the BG's both this and the pic with the OOF hen are on the current DU mag wanted list and were shot for that purpose. I have plenty of clean and green BG's shots I will get around to editing and posting they just don't sell anywhere near as well in the magazine world ( they want habitat in interaction stuff).

    A super pose and beautiful colours, I really like it.
