    Ran across an exceedingly patient GBH this morning. The bird was standing on a cliff above me and it let me get quite close. I thought this shot had an unusual perspective being a bit lower than eye level. I considered calling this shot "The last thing the gopher saw..." . This is a full frame shot with some canvas added on the right side to change the composition.

    Technical Bits
    Nikon D80
    Nikon 80-200 1:2.8 + 1.4 TC (at 100mm)
    ISO 200, f/4.8 , 1/1000 sec - evaluative metering no eV compensation

    Very cool perspective. I would consider cloning out the OOF grasses that are against the blue sky. You did well to add canvas - the image is well balanced...but I can see an exact replica of grasses repeated in LRC. You can just modify that clump a bit.

    This is a very nice perspective. I would remove the blurred leaf to the left of the frame.
