Here is another shot of one of a pair of Purple Sandpipers that I photographed a couple of weeks ago in Queens, New York. Photographed them while standing barefoot in the freezing cold ocean. I mentioned in the other photo that the light was too good and the birds too close to risk not getting the shot. Only thing I had to do was deal with the cold. Wish I had a bit more depth of field, but in the field I did not realize that I was lacking. Combined with the freezing water and the birds moving around I was a little short.
