I had an opportunity over the past week to visit one of our mountain sanctuaries called Giant's Castle and had a lot of fun making images of vultures and the odd buzzard or two. Below I show a Cape vulture coming in to land at a hide where these birds are fed during winter times.

Terrific background that sets off the bird wonderfully. BNice and sharp, shame on the shadow in the right wing, maybe you can pull some more detail out of it?
Thanks for sharing this!
I echo Fabs on the really nice background, and the nice pose. It it probably part of the background, but the 2-3 large dark areas to the lower right of the bird, almost look like large dust spots.
