    I got my first close shot at a Ruddy, the same day as the Bufflehead, only a different lake. Canon 7D ll, 100-400ll, and 1.4xlll, Handheld 1/2000, f/8 ,560mm, 800iso

    Hi Michael, congrats on your first close sighting of this species, and I like your low angle. The light wasnt in your favour here, as it seems very overcast, which in turn has not shown up the colours.
