More Great Egrets from Harns Marsh in February. (My apologies if I've used that title before.) This patch of marsh was crowded with Coots, Little Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets, so I had to crop tightly and do a bit of cloning to remove some oof birds. And added some canvas at the top, borrowed from the prior frame. Don't know if it was worth all the effort but I liked the action. I was fighting the low light, and could have used a bit more DOF and SS, but I was well past my ISO comfort level.

    D500, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 5000, 1/2000s @ f/6.3 manual. Gitzo and Mongoose.

Like this action capture, Bill. Though it was overcast, these egrets separate nicely from the marsh reeds.

Great kung Fu action shot, nice exposure on the whites, good BG, would have liked more eye showing, but if one decided to look at you during the fight, it would have probably taken a kick to the face haha.

Hi Bill, great interaction here, and the low light has helped the whites nicely. Your vertical comp works well.
