Not sure if I have posted this before if so sorry, cannot claim a lot of skill for the falling nut but it's nice to have a bit of luck sometimes.
Thanks for taking a look and your comments and tips on my last posts.

Hi Keith - First, my apologies for posting a squirrel right after you did. I was prepping the image for posting and didn't realize you had posted a squirrel in the interim. Great timing on the drop and nice placement in frame! Nice pose with the tufts and tail both up. Pops nicely against the creamy bg. I think the head can use a little more sharpening. The front legs and nut look a little sharper to me.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Superb timing my friend, just cracking Keith whether you'll take credit or no. Keith would you be so kind as to pop up Ss and f, for me please. Enchanting frame Keith ,I adore the bkg and the way the red sits against it,I so wish they were still here as they should be. Gorgeous perch too with the mosses and lichens. It's simply a wonderful capture of one of our most loved animals Keith. the dropping nut maybe fortuitous, but you nailed it and it adds so much for me the viewer to ponder. The extra bit of sharpening picked up by Rache works for me Keith .

Cheers for sharing Keith inspiring as always

Hi Keith, superb timing, killer backdrop, well exposed, overall, excellent image.

Just a thought, but flipping the format may help 'emphasise' the 'drop it' feeling, as there is space for the nut to fall into, just a thought.

    Nice work.

Nice clean shot, with that killer BG, and the basketball playing pose adds a few extra points to the shot. PP already discussed, both crop options work for me, down to personal choice as ever.

Keith this is simply gorgeous, love the exposure and colours, I first thought the original was fine but the second does indeed look a little better.

Ticks all the boxes here Keith, killer BG, techs and overall detail plus the bonus dropped nut adds that extra touch, both formats work for me also.
