Default Woodies playing in the water colors

Spent about every free minute the last month in a blind after wood ducks starting to edit some of the pixs.
Thanks for any input and CC. Canon 5DIV 600II. ISO 1600,f/4.5@1/800sec.

Great setting with the low angle and nice light, the drake looks perfect, wish the hen was in focus too, maybe f/11? perhaps it is a bit too far back. maybe a little counter clockwise shift. nice pic! ~ MT

The water colors are to die for. Great look at the drake, with nice color and light and a good pose. I can't decide whether the oof hen adds or detracts.

Very nice, I really like the water colours and the perch. Lovely detail on the male and a nice HA. I think if the female was more OOF in would look better, if you know what I mean.

love the closer one but the OOF duck weakens this image for me. it was impossible to get both sharp from where you were standing so I would have concentrated on one bird only
