    You got pretty close to this one. Nice head turn and catch light in the eye. I would have preferred more room below the bird and less above. Also, a little higher ISO setting if you wanted to keep your shutter speed and a higher f number for having a better DOF TFS.

    Nice colors. Seems a bit tight to the bottom and another round of sharpening to the bird. TFS

    Hi John, lovely pose from the Tern, and it looks like you were too close due to the lack of DOF. I agree about more space below, and the top is fine. I may be wrong, but the critical focus looks like it is on the sand, just to the right of the foot.
