Default European Bison in Dune Habitat

Hi folks after some tight shots of seals and bison .... i thought i want to avoid Steve saying it is too tight ....
So Steve i hope this works for you in terms of framing , just kidding

Steve was not the reason for this posting , i quite liked the inclusion of the dune habitat to show the environment they do live in at Kraansvlak ( Netherlands)

Andreas I know the Bison is the main subject and that looks fine to me but those grasses blowing in the wing really adds so much to this fine image, animal small in the frame really works a treat.Pleasure to view and right up my street.

This is lovely. Like Keith I also really like the sweeping grass. Colors and details look great and small in the frame really works for me. TFS

Looks a bit lost in frame now Andreas .

Seriously, nice image, just a though but how about cropping a fraction off the top from where the diagonal light patch starts top RHS???? Cool tonal range.

Hi Andreas - You know I like these types of images and the blowing grasses really add to it. If it were mine I would crop up from the bottom to get rid of the tops of the bushes at the bottom of the frame.

Hi Andreas, - very nice image. Love this bison series of yours.

For what it is worth, my crop on this image would be more of a pano shape -taking 2 cm off the top to bring the edge just above the grey foliage and another 2 cm off the bottom to lose the bushes at the bottom of the frame.

You probably weren't looking for crop advice, but hey....

Thanks Rachel and Gerald , much appreciate your feedback and comment .

Rachel there are numerous ways to crop this and i had some in my mind , but went for this one .I do agree that i could loose some in FG and BG and it will look better ....but then i would go tighter and do somehow pixel bash ...and i do not want to do that . I had also Geraldīs suggestion in mind , like going a pano format which will also look good i think.
But for the same reason i avoid that too.

So sorry i think i will leave it as is ....as far the above reasons.

    Cheers Andreas

But then you you loose the light green bottom LH corner??? It's how far you want to take it. Be nice to view as a backlit light box say 8m wide .

Yep Steve ....i am not really happy with this i rather keep it as per OP and except the minor distracting elements . Just to show what could be done and i agree the yellow patch is a nice break in the uniform FG .
Well where is that lightbox ....

Beautiful image, the blowing grasses as mentioned and much. The small in frame subject really works Andreas. It's really cool of you to show their habitat,it's an unknown to me, I like this alot Andreas . Interesting thoughts on the actual crop and reasoning too.

Lovely image Andreas and I do prefer the RP. Well processed as expected and colours are superb.

This frame has an arty feel to it, much neater without the OOF vegetation in the FG and I would even take some from the top if this was mine.

Well, I wish it was mine... I spent this morning with a pair of lions mating... but not sharing, at least not yet. Need to get out there and find other species, you must be tired of my lion images, LOL
Have a great evening Boetie, always a pleasure to view your images

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
