    Taken in the back garden from my main hide. Hope colours etc are good - 2 new drives on PC and screen recalibrated.

    cool looking woodpecker, nice and sharp, with the tongue is a plus. nice BG, the perch is a little busy with blurry spots. Nice shot!

    Good feather details here Jonathan. Colours look good to me, not that I have seen many this close! The bird stands out well from the nice clean background. Like the glimpse of tongue. The perch is what it is. Well done for attracting this elusive bird to your hide.

    Hi Jon, I think Arash summed up my initial thoughts yesterday. For me the 'perch' is just to dominant, but I do like the framing and nice to see the 'crampon' feet. For me the green is a bit too vibrant and I would address the Blue coming through, but just my take.

    Thanks for the feedback everyone I appreciate your comments. I know where you are coming from regarding the perch but I quite like it, I think it made for a bit of a change.
