I was photographing some birds near a seed feeder and he perched here from a brief minute. I guess he just wanted to see what the other birds were doing. This was taken with a canon 7dii, canon ef 600mm f/4 is lens, mounted to a gitzo tripod and wimberly head.
    f/5.6 - ISO 1000 - 1/8000 sec
Taken about an hour after sunrise on a clear day.

Jack the image itself looks fine it's the composition that needs a bit of work, bird is to centered in the frame it's always best to have more room in front of the bird.
Plus there is way to much empty negative space that doesn't really add to the composition. Maybe a bit higher in the frame with less on the left and more on the right.
    I hope this helps.

Here is a composition that is a little more traditional. It is ok but something about the first one appeals to me more. Just curious as to what other people think.

Hello, JDIII. I like your bird. Personally, I think your little guy looked a bit lonely in the first image.

    Wow. You're shooting a 600mm f/4 on the 7D II. That's a lot of go-out-and-grab-'em power.
