    Default Playful Owlets

This image is from a few years back. The playful owlets were quite active when Dave Salem and I photographed them early summer. We used a vehicle to get close to these cute but skittish owlets. they were pecking at each other until daddy arrived with a mouthful of snacks. image taken from vehicle with 1DX and 600II +1.4X III. hand held. ISO 400. f/5.6 at 1/3200sec. hope you like it

Hi Arash a lovely action shot , well timed and the poses of both are priceless good !!!!
Crop works well and i like the overall color palette , i just might open the tonal range a fraction .A tiny bit !

Well timed and framed Arash, with very pleasing colours. Is this cropped?

A wonderful image, Arash. I think I remember another from this series a few years ago. No nits, other than for personal preference I might crop just a tad off the bottom (about up to your signature), and add an equal amount at the top -- for the magazine cover title.

Such a fun frame. Love the 'are you kidding me' stare the bottom guy is giving. I could also see the same crop Bill is referring to. Great image quality as usual. TFS

Excellent interaction photo with your usual top notch image quality and processing. As the bottom bird is looking down a little I like that you are giving him room to look into with the crop as presented. When I look at this photo it makes me think of my 2 boys with the top one being the youngest and always giving the older one a hard time. . I am going out to Colorado soon and hope to see these owls. Not sure how many photos I will get to take though. But this will give me something to aspire to.

Nice frame Arash. The stare and foot lift of the lower bird add something. Nice clean background and great IQ

Pretty neat image and lovely blends of browns throughout. IQ is outstanding. How much of a crop is this

Man I sure miss these little characters! What a fun frame as they try to perch on each other and the details, BG and lighting look awesome. Glad you made it out to shoot these guys before it ended. Well done
