    Default Northern Harrier

    Hi all,

    Here is a recent Northern Harrier frame from NJ. It was a pretty overcast day and this was taken ~ 45 minutes before sunset. In post, I did noise reduction on the bird and background, sharpened, and some standard levels adjustments as well as cropping about 40% off (such skittish birds here) so hopefully IQ held up okay. Background is trees on the end of the field.

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 200-500mm f/5.6 at 500mm
    Specs: 1/2500 ISO 1400 f/5.6

    It certainly looks like a dull day you had so well done getting this nice Raptor,wonder if it would be possible to lighten the eye just a bit,very well caught.
