A lovely alert pose, you can tell that the hare is aware of you. Good detail in the fur and stands out well from the background. You have obviously managed to get very close which requires good field craft. TFS

Hi Keith, great to see you getting out & about, nice portrait of the Hare.

Love the sitting position and the alert ears, shot in some lovely light too. Techs look good, but feel you could have squeaked a bit more DoF, at least f/8, good SS though. The colour looks good, but again I feel it needs a bit of a tweak certainly in the reduction of the magenta and one or two other sliders, an easy fix, but nothing to due with Saturation. I might add a fraction more Saturation say +5 on the JPEG, but personal preference. Sharpness looks spot on. I might clone the dark spot top right, the green below is a little distracting, but you call.

You have obviously managed to get very close which requires good field craft.
Agree with David, very well done indeed.

PS Keith, just added this for guidance only.

Keith, so cool to see a post from you and a hare too ,that'll do nicely buddy. Mate I hope you are good, too long no speak.

Love the light and colour Keith, sort of want the pov a touch lower. I quite like the square crop Keith good thinking there.

Lovely image buddy a joy especially for me to view,we have spent much time of late on hares: I can't believe leveret numbers are already increasing down here another two new ones today, they must have started their season very very early this year. I'm perplexed by it all Keith the wolds are a cold place in winter due to altitutde, but that hasn't affected the hares seemingly.

Cracking image, cool FC, great detail ,I like this one mate

Hi Keith - Glad to see you posting. Lovely light and alert pose with the ears up. Steve's tweaks have brought out a nice richness to the colors. Looking forward to seeing more.

Hi Keith -- What a lovely image, liked the low POV and the way your subject is separated from the BKG, makes it stand out and a pleasure to view. Steve's RP has improved it where it was required but all in all a very good image .

    TFS !

Really nice frame Keith, you should be very pleased with this

Nice techs too, great eye contact, BG is superb. Steve's RP sorts out those mild colour casts and adds richness in terms of colour to the subject overall.

Lovely detail and sharpness. A tad more DoF would not have hurt, but I am just nitpicking:)
Lovely image Keith - very well done my friend

    Kind regards,

Hi Keith a very cool Hare image , i like the pose and the overall tonal range with good details and sharpness where it counts and looks spot on to me . Good job in the field to get the shot with that short lens....
Colors do look off to me in your OP , Steve has addressed that with his RP .
Very nice frame overall , TFS Andreas
