Hi all another Marmot ....
This time a close up with a nice open mouth which adds a bit of interest for me .
Those guys at Filzmoos Austria are quite easy to handle ... compared to other locations , as they are kind of habituated to humans at that place .

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous posting
Hi Andreas - I know this was an experiment in pp for you but I do think it could be improved in PS. My guess is you do too. The midtones and darks of the marmot seem a bit heavy and more detail could be brought out. I also find my eye drawn to the bright spot on the right edge. The low pov and open mouth definitely take this up a notch.
Hi Rachel thanks for your pointers ..... i just think i produced a big mess .... after reading your comment even more with new fresh eyes from today .
Still try to get the most out of DPP .... in different ways .
Overall it is just flat and the colors do look muddy and just not right .
HI Andreas -- Not that a big mess , can be termed as not your usual standard but I find it quite a nice frame considering the low POV and the open mouth. Yes, that bright spot was the first thing that drew my eye in the rhs corner , apart from that it slightly off in terms of the blacks as pointed out by Rachel.
