    Default White Chinese Goose - Post Bath Preening

    During a walk around a local lake (mid-afternoon) I came across this White Chinese Goose taking a bath. Streaming light into an otherwise shadowy area made for some interesting light. C&C welcome.

    Setting: D500 with Tamron 150-600 G2, 1/2000, f6, 420mm, ISO 320, Handheld.

    I think the lighting is very effective here. Enough light on the eye to work, plus the orange bill really pops. Set off by the darker background. Perhaps bit more room below and on the right side.

    Nicely exposed.
