    Very nice POV Bill. I like the feather detail and pose. The dullness of the BG and FG makes the bird pop nicely.

    I was really hoping to get them in Florida but never saw one. I like the pose and the muted colors and the typical habitat. I do think the feathers look like a little too much NR was applied. Does not have the level of fine feather detail typical of your shots.

    Thanks guys. Isaac, I think the fine feather detail looks pretty good in most places, but I did notice that it seemed diminished when I converted to jpeg and loaded to BPN. The tiff file looked very sharp. Except, there area few of the white areas that show the smoothed-out look typical of NR. Curiously, I don't recall doing any NR on the bird (although I could have forgotten). The RAW file shows that same smoothness in a few of the white feather spots, and the RAW file showed very little noise so I'm not sure I would have applied NR to the bird. Maybe the lighting? Or maybe my memory?
