I like the fact that the background has some leaves that give some context and this reminds me of Florida a lot, Stuart. If there is any nit, that would be the bird's right wing tip is a little bit too close to the UL corner. Lucky you didn't clip it though! :D
Nice action pose and great look at the talons! The light looks a little harsh to my eyes and the whites could perhaps be toned down a bit. There looks to a some smudge / blur in the lower right hand corner? Very dynamic frame though -- impressive you didn't clip them. TFS
