    Default Recent - Black Phoebe Stare Down

    Two days ago after work - a little stare down on hand.

    Settings: D500, Handheld Tamron 150-600 G2, 1/1000, f9, 600mm, ISO 1250

    C&C welcome.

    Jay, nice eye contact, a few nits… better to get a bird on a natural perch, shot is a hair on the warm side and
    it seems the NR softened the feathers a bit in places. I suggest lowering the SS and ISO since the bird was perched and you might get a sharper image.
    I can see an improvement in your shots, nice BG on this one, keep up the good work.

I suggest lowering the SS and ISO since the bird was perched and you might get a sharper image (YES, try to lower if only wanting perched shot - or - quickly lower while perched and then raise again for potential flight capture - but this time - just left it where it was - don't recall why).
