Iv'e seen a lot of great looking Peregrine images posted here lately so I thought I would share a recent flight frame of a beautiful female California Anatum Peregrine that I captured a few weeks ago. The background is the colorful Pacific ocean. Hope you like her.

Thanks as always for looking and for your input. I appreciate it.

This is strikingly beautiful Dave. Perfect light angle, and the ocean BG is gorgeous.
The HA, wingspread, and fanned tail couldn't be any better... masterfully captured and processed.
Huge congrats on a fantastic image, I love it just as presented. :-)

Just perfect David. Pose, details, that water below. Man is this just great. That feeling you had when this bird took off (I'm guessing?) and you got this shot. Bottle that and take a sip now and then. That's why we all bought gear and spend so much time at it. For shots like this.

Thanks a lot Isaac!! Yes this is a few frames after take off. I actually got really fortunate and tracked her for a few seconds giving me 4-5 nice frames with different wing positions. This was almost full frame and the camera locked on well so the detail, especially in the master TIFF file, is just awesome.

That feeling when I looked at the cameras LCD after she took off is what keeps me going out there as much as possible. I think it's what keeps all of us motivated. Great line about bottling it and taking a sip now and then!! Thanks again

Thanks Alex. I appreciate your input!

Really fantastic top side view David. I love the blue BG and the intent in the falcon's eye. Gorgeous BIF shot!

I don't know if it is possible to have a better image of this bird in flight. Well done, Dave.

Hi Dave, always late to your party, but due to very busy work loads, I'm feeling left out on not participating. Excellent wingspread here, and just love the layers of feather detail. Tack sharp where it counts, and yep, that BG is a real killer. Very well captured.

Your frame was the best of the day, great light and perfect timing on a narrow window of capture,
