Hi Kevin, nice picture, would like a little less room behind the male plus a bit more room at the bottom of the frame.
Since there is so much white a pano crop would work well also.
Kev this is a really interesting frame for me,I have looked a few times now before replying. I simply can't decide whether I want the hen bird (I presume rear is hen) in frame. I love the striking patterns of the birds against the whites adore the male the stark sharpness the raised foot,
But that lady has me stumped. I felt I best say hi and finally reply ,but I am still stuck as to where I want her in or out of frame.
I also love the frozen oof veggies that anchor your birds.
I just can't decide whether the hen adds balance or distracts he's courting her she is part of all this
Lovely work Kevin joy to see and ponder
thanks for sharing
Thanks Stu for the reply. Both birds are male Prairie Chickens displaying on the Lek in Nebraska . We had a wet early spring snow and the change of weather cools down the males as no hens arrived this morning.
I've always loved good juxtaposition images and I love this one. All good stuff above. Consider this repost. As a photo illustration.
