    This is another image from my recent trip to the Kgalagadi. A small puddle of water in the road acted as a magnet for birds to come and drink and bath. Open water in this arid region is a luxury, therefore it pays to simply wait there and see what comes to the water. All comments welcome.

    The dove is looking a bit away, but otherwise great pose...and those wing colors!!

    I really like the colour and stop-action here Chris. I would try a crop to give more room at top and less at bottom- I don't think that much mud below the bird adds anything to the image.
