Hi folks .... back with a European Bison image taken recently in the Netherlands ...
I got luck with the herd approaching me .... attracted with a little trick from my side .... to come into my direction .
This guy was called Blondie from me .... as he was having lighter fur on the head and forehead compared to all others ...

HH standing upright
F 7,1 ; Iso 10000 ; 1/2500 sec ; man exp + 0,7 EV
Processed with DPP 4.6 ( fine detail) and PS CC 2017 ; added canvas and recropped

Framing is perfect and BG is superb, the subject is so alive on my screen I feel like touching him... I guess not a good idea in real life?

Hi Andrea - Very nice head on portrait and I like seeing it on the sand dunes as opposed to the grasses like in North America. Tones and colors look good. Only thing I would suggest is a little cw rotation.
Hi Andreas -- Perhaps the best European bison image that you have posted thus far . I liked the details even at such high iso , your PP work is always top class , you always get that fine details in the image , which I usually loose during PP work. Nice inspiration for me .
Hiya Andreas,another stunningly crafted frame,I also feel the need for a very slight CW rotation I mused that before reading Rachel's post,but it's tricky the ground running away might make him lean in a bit. Fabulous animal,and gorgeous to see him on the sand dunes,I really like this. The fact that you have crafted this from iso 10 000 is amazing to me. Stunning detail!!

Hi Andreas, echoing Rachel's comment, it's very cool to see this guy on sand! Really amazing image quality, especially at that ISO-- excellent details and the fur looks so soft. I agree with Steve that I could see a version with a tad more room, in particular on the left side. The multiple complementary shades of brown also add a lot. TFS!

Regarding space around .... well i think it does work as presented and sadly i do not have more space .
The rotation well for me it is ok as he is coming down a slight slope .
