    Earlier I posted the male - here's his girlfriend. Was so cute how for nesting he (being the brighter of the two) would come in a be a safety distraction, and would then signal to her it was OK to come in a get their nesting supplies. She's come in, get some material and leave. He'd follow her to the nest and back they'd come. Anyhow, it was a fun little sequence to observe.

    Settings: Nikon D500, 300 PF f4, Handheld, 1/500s, f5.6, 420mm, ISO2200.

    Hi Jay, nice to see the other birds mate! This is a nice sighting -- i like the head on look with the twig. The background is a bit busy but not much to do about that sometimes. I feel that the bird lacks some details, especially on the head and I'm wondering if its from a noise reduction pass?
