Scaups are such attractive ducks, and you have shown off his head colors well. Good eye contact, looks like he is watching you.

A noticeable sharpening halo around the head.

Thanks for the comment Randy. I think it was careless use of the dodge tool that created the halo. I will rework the image later tonight when I get home.

Apart from the dodging halo, but you've caught a the color of the "black" in the head well, Jim.
