At last, we get to the punch!
Wonderful action here Jon, nice PP work and some lovely rich colours/textures on the fur of the protagonists. Must have been great fun to observe these chaps, I certainly enjoyed viewing, thank you so much for sharing

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Jon, well captured & titled fits the bill a treat. I appreciate this might be a big crop and so IQ will drop, but guess this is from the same series, so hopefully getting closer may help, I think Moss Cross may do a nice Ghillie suit for such an event , but seriously it can help. Colours look more 'faithful', or what I would expect. If you do get a chance, try to get much lower, this does have the feeling of shooting down, like from a safari jeep at times, which just kills an image in my book.

Thank you Gabriela, glad you liked the pics.
Steve the field is not flat and they were in a dip so I was low say knee height, any lower and I would be too low, the OOF grass at the base has been cropped out, I do agree of course the lower the angle then in general the better it will be.

Wonderful again Jon.in fact the jab to the nose probably makes this one my personal favourite so far! I appreciate the colour and what Steve says about faithful, tell me did you work up from dpp neutral here?

Ha ha, still chasing your lead mate got to see a lad sprayed by his lady, a new behaviour to me Sadly just after sunset and I was found wanting in so little light , she didn't need a right hook stopped him dead,he had to shake.

You're still inspiring me Jon i'm so grateful for your posts of late

    all the luck for more

    take care

Hi Jon - Fantastic action, love the right cross. Colors and tones look very natural. They certainly put on a show for you. Did you try any vertical images?

Hi Jonathan -- This is that sort of image where the expression just takes over every other aspect. Excellent timing in getting this . I too agree that being a bit more close and a low angle would have helped , rather taken this up several notches but as presented it also works . loved it .

    TFS !
