    Now that Spring is upon us, I'm getting excited about the approaching few weeks of warbler migration. But that is still a month away, so in anticipation, I went back and dredged up a few unprocessed shots from last year -- this one from a local preserve last May 20th. I liked the way this one shows the rufous streaks on the mantle.

    D7200, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 800, 1/1200s @ f/7.1 manual; fill @ -2.7 EV.

    Pretty shot of this little beauty. Can't wait for them to return as well. I don't have any photos of this bird that are keepers. It is on my list for this season. Details and pose are great. Like that you kept the leaves as well. You have some banding on the background, especially in the area to the right of the bird and above your signature.

    Beautiful species that I have nothing on. I like the overall setting, but I do wish the leaves close to the subject were in better condition. I love the oof ones above
