    Default Great American

These beautiful Great American Egrets just arrived here a few days ago. This one was early on a cloudy and windy morning. I have others of full profile but liked the action here. MM, 1/1250, f5, auto ISO-720, +0.3ev, 500mm, D500, 500 f4E. cc

I like the action as well. Perfect timing with a great splash and still decent eye contact. I think the crop is too tight and would loosen it. Also think the egret is too gray. Very hard to get these white birds exposed perfectly.

Isaac, this angle of the bird doesn't quite work for me, but it could make an interesting action head shot with the color and splash.
