    Great shot. The open landing wingspan really shows off the wing feather detail and the green grass in the beak makes the shot better.

    Great pose and agree with John that the grass makes it. I agree that the blues could be toned down a bit esp on the head and legs. Also was this cropped? If so I could see a version with the bird more to the left of the frame giving more room to fly into. TFS
