I was shooting with my two set of gears in Costa Rica, in one side I had the D750 with the 300mm f2.8 + 2.0x TC for small birds and in the other I had the D7100 with the 300mm for larger birds like this Toucan. The book I had for Costa Rica birds had them as Black-mandibled Toucan but I was told they are now called the Yellow-throated Toucan, unfortunately we saw the other Toucan the Keel-billed but never close or good enough to photograph, one to look for on the next trip!

Great looking bird and perch. Background is very nice as well. I think that you can pull more details out of your shots. To me the darks of your bird can be brought out more, also the yellows are a little over saturated. Bringing them down will bring out more details as well. Also think the bird will stand out more if you have a little more noise reduction applied to the background. Those subtle differences will make a big difference on the final product.
Wonderful looking bird, with great colors, background, pose and perch. The subtle tweaks suggested by Isaac will bring it up another notch. I'd love to have gotten such a clear, close shot of these guys.
Like your sharpness, and I see enough detail throughout the bird. I do wish the head angle was better though. I think they are now called Black-mandibled Toucans.
