    Default J.N. DING DARLING

    Hello guys,

I'm thinking about going to Ding Darling for the first time and for only one day this weekend. Any suggestions to make better use of the time? How that work, do they have different trails, if so which one should I take?

    Thanks in advance

I have not heard anything positive about Ding this season. I think you are better off at Tigertail or Bunche but Tigertail has to be low tide and Bunche Beach in Ft Myers has to be am only and low tide. Park and walk to the right. The reddish egrets should be in breeding plumage at both places. I can't say for sure you will strike out at Ding, but it's more than likely b/c there are a lot more misses there than hits.

Thank you for your suggestions Marina. I'll look into it.

Thank you again Marina for your Tigertail recommendation. Really, really nice with lots of birds. I'll be posting some pictures on the avian forum soon.
