Ruddy Duck
Got close to this male Ruddy Duck that is transitioning into breeding plumage. From last week at Prospect Park in Brooklyn
Canon 1DX and Canon 500 f4 ii + 1.4x iii. ISO 800, F8, SS 1/1600. Tripod mounted while lying in snow
Converted in DPP 4.6 and processed in PS.
Nice low shooting angle and details in this one and I like the nice rust colored feathers that are coming in. Only wish there were a catch light in the eye to give him a bit more spark. Well captured

Lovely shot Isaac, I suspect you may have done a tiny bit of eye doctoring (?) I think just a little more would help. Love the colours - never seen one like this.
