    Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/320s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, FF, removed a bluish cast on the snow in ULC, a small dark grey area in LRC filled in via clone stamp.

    lovely frame Daniel, love the view of his eye and the tree hole he is tucked in. i might experiment darkening the bright yellows a tad

    TFS, i have never seen these guys in good light and a in a good setting like this

    Great looking frame Daniel. I really like the outward pose and the roosting cavity in this tree. For some reason my eye wants to take off a bit off the top although I know this is a nice 2X3 format. Well done

    Lovely image of a Eastern Screech Owl, very appropriate title also if one has ever seen a Jack in the Pulpit. If mine I might try to rotate the image or fill in the upper left corner. Thank you for sharing, Daniel.

    Echo everyone else here -- really nice frame. Good advice re: exploring different angles as well, I all too often realize when I put the images on my computer that I just shot dead on instead of trying something new.
