My favorite ducks no idea how much time I spend photographing them each spring. Thanks for looking and any input.

Really nice shot here Joe. I love the interaction between the birds. The log, water and background are all top notch. Love the colors and details on the birds. My only wish is that the birds were a little more colorful. Wood Ducks are such deeply colorful birds that I am just left wishing I could see some of the magic that is hiding in the shadows in this shot.
ducks are great and the colors look good to me, it was unfortunate that lump of bush fell directly behind the pair

Looks spot on to me, I like the colours and I see good detail in all areas of plumage.
The only thing I could suggest to improve might be to consider toning down the bright stems in the background.
Thanks for the comments guys!
It funny about the brush in the back. For the last 4-5 years DU had bought 1-3 pictures from me each year including a cover until last year so I was a bit disappointed because I had felt my photography had gotten even better not worse. So I had a conversation with the photo editor and was told my photos had gotten too sterile/clean. So this spring at my wood duck setup I tried to liven up some of the the perches and in this case relocated the grass in this frame from another location to include more habit.
