Dear Rachel,
She is oh-so-lovely and indeed golden, your Hollywood princess!
I like the tight crop and POV is great. The bone she is chewing on adds lots of interest. It also makes me think of those fancy Japanese mushrooms I only get to buy on those rare trips to Durban:)
Fabulous pose, I do not detect any aggression from this lioness but she is certainly able and willing to defend her precious find. Very provocative image Rachel, I love it
Warmest regards,

Hi Rachel, one of the better images I feel from the 7DMK2 you have posted. Having the 100-400 I feel you could have easily pulled out for more at the foot, as the subject was static and very relaxed. Nice detail, but darkening the FG/BG looses the very even tone and creates more depth to the capture, it's just too even. I would look to reducing the highlights on the bone and again pull more detail out to provide shape, form and texture to it. DoF looks perfect and good to see a faster SS too.
TFS

Great light and details, and an interesting behavioural aspect with the bone, but I too just wish it was framed just a little looser,
