I have decided to go one more time this weekend to the spot where i was shooting woodpeckers. I wanted to get some more vertical shots.
I think this one is the best as this is the male and you can see clearly the beuatiful red cap.
I reposted it after suggestion from Jonathan to lowe the reds and yellows. Thanks Jonathan. I originally tought that i went to much with vibrance and that was true.
And to answer your question Jonathan the food was placed close to that green moss but the hole is hidden pretty well and not sure if i can really spot it :)

Really nice perch, BG, and details. It might be an optical illusion or my eyes but it looks like the bird's head is slightly turned away. Nice shot and thanks for sharing this!
Hi. I wrote that i posted this photo instead of with a better head angle due to the red cap. But i think i have to agree that head angle is more important.
What do you think now?
