    Just a simple Mallard wing flap taken in Central Park.

    Canon 1DX and Canon 500 f4 ii. Tripod mounted while lying on ground. ISO 1000, F8, SS 1/2000. Manual with Evaluative metering.

    Converted in DPP and processed in PS.

    Always good to make the more common subjects look nice, and the details here are spot on. Nice touch with all the water droplets coming off her. If you have any spare space in the original, I might be tempted to move her a bit over to the left.

    Great position details and the water drops are a great touch. These birds are so common but I never get tired of seeing pics of them. TFS!

    Lovely shot, the light is optimal fully illuminating the subject and not burning anything out, the eye looks good (are there two highlights, I think I would remove the lower one). Love the water droplets.
    The wet water highlights on the bill look perfectly natural to me but you may wish to consider removing them?
    I agree moving just a little to the left.
