    Hello Rachel,

I adore this painted dog, he is in such great condition:)

Love the movement/ action as well as attitude from the subject. The raised paw is great, so are those alert eyes.

Light is gorgeous, lovely detail and colours/tonality, nice separation between subject and BG.

Well seen and captured, nice PP work Rachel, this works for me 100%. I would go as far as to say I am a little jealous

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Gabriela - Only a little jealous? Thanks so much for the kind comments. This was one of the prettier dogs I have seen with a bit more white markings than most.

    Thanks again,
    Rachel

Hi Rachel, both position in frame and the pose works. I like the small dust cloud by the feet. Having the water running through the body was a good call.

Hi Rachel a very nice clean image of the WD in combo with the movement does work very well . You have a lovely color palette and the tonal range is very good in the WD , likewise the detail. The kicked up dust is a nice little addition to help understand what he might do .
    Good PP work .
If i had a wish .... i would have preferred the dog being more to the RHS in the frame and get the shadow in , but i guess this was not possible as you cannot exactly say what these guys are doing next when on the move .

Thanks Steve and Andreas. Andreas I think you mean move it more to the left in the frame . As so often happens, I originally set up the shot when the dog was looking to the left leaving the space in front, then the dog quickly turned its head with its body starting to follow the head. I wasn't paying attention to the shadow at the time, oops.

    Thanks again,
    Rachel
