we crawled around on our bellies trying to capture these little guys saturday afternoon at crandon park in miami. they were a lot of fun!!
in processing, ran NR on BG, lightened the faces, sharpened the eyes, then sharpened the birds. full frame, no crop. wished the grass wasnt in front of the chicks, but oh well!!

Hi Harold. Love it. Don't think the grass is a negative. If you are going to get such a fabulous low angle of birds in the grass then some blades in front of the body are inevitable. The only suggestion I might make is that I think the contrast could be upped a tad, especially on the chicks. Great shot in any event.
Way to go Harold !!!! ..... I guess you guys did not have any food? Normally they would be crawling all over you !!! Great obtaining three good head angles and it doesn't happen by chance !!! The leaf in the front is about the only thing that bothers me Fine image and lots of feel !!!
What beautiful birds. I've never seen a peacock chick before. I love this shot.
The eyes are so stunning, and the sharpness of the chicks are too.
The grass in front adds to this I think. Great focus.
