Here is the same individual that I posted a few weeks back, but at a point when it had come oh so very close. I was lying flat on the ground here, and came literally face-to-face with this beautiful and curious vixen. As with my previous post of this fox (and as Andrew's too), it was attracted closer to me by the scent of peanuts I had in my coat pockets reserved for the Gray Jays.
Canon 7DII + Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 @33mm, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/1000s., f/8, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, more than FF (I added canvas at right due to the near-clipped paw, and below to retain the aspect ratio).
Hi Daniel stunning POV , love the ice on the nose , a tiny but very interesting addition .
Lovely colors and very fine tonal transitions ..... looks very good for me. Gotta love the eyes .

This is just awesome! I cannot believe how close this chap got to you. What an experience!
Great techs, you were so much faster than me with my cheetah when it comes to DOF.
This works for me 100%, superb colours and tonality as well as sharpness. The expression on the subject's face is absolutely priceless, I am loving this
Hope you have more on this character? I cannot wait to see more, bring them on!
Cool perspective Dan, just wonder if it needed some Micro Adjustment, as it looks like it's focusing a fraction behind, unless the FP was above between the eyes???
Great up close and personal view of this time fox, this really is my kind of frame. Lovely little details like the snow on top of the fur and the reflection in the eyes make this a winner for me.
